Yesterday, I took Cali on a walk with her best friend, Kirby. As we approached the end of the walk, we happened to pass by a house with happy children playing in the front yard with their little unleashed dog. The mini dog took off toward my two dogs. It looked more like a small ball of lint flying across the front yard and into the street. Little did this dog know that he was running straight into the jaws of two German Shepherds. Just before the little dog became dog food, we were able to separate the canines and the little dog was to live another day. James 1:12 states, “God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him (NLT). Next time you are tempted ask yourself, “Would I rather stay in God’s front yard or run into the streets of life and become dog food. May God richly bless you today in His front yard.
