Cali and I were running a Lytle Creek Road when suddenly a Jeep with a dog rounded the corner. Cali instantly turned around and began following the Jeep. Of course, meeting another dog on the trail was a delight for Cali. Knowing the Jeep would lead Cali further from our vehicle, I called her back. Thankfully, she obeyed and came running to me. She was now heading in the right direction.
Psalm 16:11 states, “You will make known to me the path of life…” (NAS). We all get distracted by life’s messiness and tend to wander from God’s path. If we are not careful, life’s distractions can easily take us away from the joys of walking with God.
Keep your spiritual ears open when God calls. He might be calling you back from following a Jeep with a dog.
