I took Cali for a run the other day. We worked hard and by the end of the run, Cali’s tongue was hanging out and she looked very tired. I thought, “Poor doggie, she needs to rest-lucky me.” Later, after giving her water and rest her tongue turned into a happy smile. All the hardships of the run instantly left her, and the joy of her smile erased all that was miserable and wrong. I wonder how we meet our world each day. Do me great others with our tongues hanging out and displaying signs of our misery; or do we give others the joy of our smile? A smile is simple and free. Try giving yourself and someone else a smile today and see what happens. You might get another walk. Philippians 4:4 states, Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
