Cali loves surprises. Every bend in the road brings her new adventures. Even though the excitement for adventure lures Cali to explore the next turn, she never strays far from me. Her sense of smell lures her to sniff out the bushes while keeping her on track.
I get a lot of my pleasure watching Cali explore. I have traveled this isolated road many times and I know what to expect around each corner. However, to see Cali’s excitement of exploring something new makes the journey fun.
Psalm 84:11 states, For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord gives grace and glory; no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly (NAS). God takes great pleasure in giving us good things. He knows what is around every bend in life and yet he desires for us to take each turn with total trust and to know He stands there with something good.
Try not to fear life and nor the bends in the road. Trust that God sees what lies ahead, that He walks right behind you, and that He watches every step. Hold your head high, walk boldly, and smile as you explore around the bend.
