I make Cali land Kirby stop at all cross walks and intersections. I tell them to sit; I watch for traffic; and then we proceed to cross safely. While Cali and Kirby trot across the intersection with upmost glee, I look far down the road to make sure no on-coming cars plan to cross our path.
Jeremiah 29:11 states, “For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.’” Do you feel like you are sitting at an intersection waiting for traffic to clear? Are you experiencing confusion and anxiety, waiting for life to get back to normal? Is this COVID experience taking away your strength and enthusiasm for life?
I would encourage you to step off the curb and walk across the intersection with confidence. Know that God is holding your leash and He is looking far down the road for on-coming traffic.
